Hi everyone. I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Rudi Vanderschoot, and am the new owner of WebinarListings. I am lucky enough to have purchased this great company from the original founder, Rachel Levy. I currently reside in Newton MA. My background is in both business an technology. I have an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts and a graduate degree from Northeastern University. I plan to grow WebinarListings to make it the premier site for the world to find Webinars. However I want to let everyone know that WebinarListings will continue to operate “business as usual”. I welcome all your posts and I look forward to meeting the needs of the webinar community.
I want to personally thank Rachel for her insight into starting WebinarListings. Without her hard work and knowledge of social media promotion, we would all be out of a great resource.
Launched in 2010, WebinarListings serves the purpose to get the word out about upcoming webinars, in any area of interest, in any area of the world. The benefit to Webinar hosts is that they have the ability to reach new participants that they would not have otherwise reached. The benefit to Webinar participants is that they can find many learning opportunities all on one website, in their area of interest, such as marketing, leadership, public speaking, job search, non-profit, technology, and more.
Webinars are free to post on WebinarListings, or hosts can also choose to upgrade their webinars to “Featured Webinars” for a fee, which increases their visibility through promotion on social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and RSS feed, email and better search rankings on the website.
I look forward to working with you all. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
